Bartos Gwozdz
SolofounderI'm Bartos Gwozdz — an iOS developer and solofounder based in Germany. I believe in building software that respects users: clean design, native performance, and zero compromise on privacy. Every app I build follows Apple's design principles because great software should feel like it belongs on your device.
By day, I work in HR — so I know how important clear communication and a professional presence are. In the evenings and on weekends, I channel that experience into building apps and websites. It all started with my own app projects. At some point, friends started asking: "Can you build me a website too?" — and I realized that local businesses often don't have a good, simple solution. Big agencies are too expensive, website builders too impersonal. That's exactly the gap I fill.
No agency background. No VC funding. Just me, my Mac, and great tools. I use AI as a tool to build the apps and websites I envision — with clarity, not complexity. Every project follows the same principles: clean design, native performance, and absolute respect for user privacy.
When I'm not writing code or building websites, I'm happiest outdoors — camera in hand, doing sports, or in the mountains. Most of my time I spend with my partner and our two dogs. Dortmund is our home base, the mountains our escape. I believe great work comes from a clear head, so I make time for things that have nothing to do with tech — and come back to my desk with fresh ideas.
